Coaches and Mentors

David Collins: A high school teacher at Northeastern Clinton Central School. He also holds degrees in teaching Social Studies and Special Education. He is a fifth year FIRST Coach and Mentor (FLL and FTC),  working with kids and robots. CVTM Robotics Co-Director.

Darleen Collins: Administrative Assistant at Clinton County Office for the Aging with a degree in Accounting. A fifth year FIRST Coach and Mentor (FLL and FTC). CVTM Robotics Program Co-Director.

Justin Collins: A senior Physics Major a SUNY Plattsburgh and Member of the Physics Club. He has experience in 3D modeling and 3D printing as well as robotics and Multi-rotor Technology. He is a fifth year FIRST Coach and Mentor (FLL and FTC).

Trevor McIntyre:  Specialization in project liaison for Information Technology and General security infrastructure. Proficient in Electro-mechanical implementation and hardware level software/firmware design. He is a second year FTC Mentor.

Matthew Rine: An undeclared freshman a SUNY Plattsburgh. Helped introduce an A.P. computer science course to Peru Central School. Was on FTC team 8527 as a lead programmer in the 2014/2015 season. Currently leading the design of the CVTM Robotics mobile app.

Dana Atwood: Mr. Atwood is a Grade 8 Social Studies teacher at Peru Junior/Senior High School. In 2014 and 2015, he was one of the founding faculty members of the Adirondack P-TECH (Pathways in Technology, Early College-High School) program hosted at Peru Central School District. Before becoming a classroom teacher, Mr. Atwood was involved in high-tech marketing in the Boston area. He is a second year FLL Coach and Mentor.
